CGC Residential is seeking to hire a Spanish-speaking Community Manager. The Community Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations and maximizing the performance of the apartment community. This role provides exceptional customer service to both residents and prospects in order to increase renewals, revenue and overall satisfaction.
The Community Manager supervises onsite staff and is responsible for leading, developing and engaging them in order to be successful. This individual will be strategic in their efforts to increase revenue and provide a Return on Investment (ROI) for the company.
Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates people, activities and available resources to provide a desirable community to residents, future residents, visitors and team members
- Communicates effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors and team members while presenting a positive, professional image
- Trains and supervises all team members though a positive mentoring approach
- Inspects make-ready apartments prior to move-in
- Participates and plan resident events
- Prepares time sensitive financial and operations reports
- Ensures that rent is collected and posted in a timely manner
- Conducts outreach marketing, contributes to social media, ratings and reviews
- Maintains open communication with vendors and contractors concerning work scheduling, billing, vendor relations and certificates
- Audits and approves lease documents
- Takes pride in the apartment community; visually inspect and address areas of concern, keep community clean and report service needs to maintenance team members
- Works closely with Maintenance Lead to monitor and schedule make-readies and other maintenance activities
- Knows their market by being abreast of competition and surrounding area
- Performs additional duties as assigned by corporate or regional manager
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in property management with at least 1 year as a Community Manager
- Spanish speaking required
- Above average organizational and communication skills
- Ability to make independent decisions and handle emergency situations professionally
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and property management software (ResMan preferred)
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends
- Must be able to walk the property which includes climbing stairs
- Able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, carry supplies and stand for extended periods of time
This is an exempt position. The Community Manager is eligible for periodic bonuses as determined by management from time to time.
