About Cate Grey Capital

Founded in 2019, Cate Grey Capital began when founders Matthew and Jenn Pierson acquired a small 38-unit apartment community in Irving, Texas with the goal of meaningful value creation for both residents and investors over a two year period. The arrival of the Covid pandemic in 2020 forced Cate Grey to display leadership through agility, accountability and pure grit. In spite of the unexpected event, Cate Grey exceeded its investment return goals and executed on virtually every property upgrade planned for residents. Today, we continue to exhibit these same qualities by living our values in every interaction with residents, employees and investors.
